On a winter’s day . . .

Korea3Touring on a recent snowy day, which at times made me feel like I was in God’s snowdome and He was shaking it, I tried to enjoy seeing it snow around the memorials.

Korea4Normally, snow means I’m at home, but 17 people wanted to brave a snowy morn so off we went. I’ve seen snow pictures of the Korean War Memorial, but this was my chance to try my own. The interesting thing is the photos look like black-and-white pics when they’re simply gray monuments, white snow and a winter’s day.

The memorials were virtually empty, but in less than one month crowds will overflow and cherry blossoms will emerge, though it’s looking like an April showing this year.

Enjoy the National Mall – the 8th graders are coming.
