Walking to the top of Arlington National Cemetery isn’t easy for the most able-bodied, but leg problems didn’t stop this former U.S. Marine from reaching the Tomb of the Unknowns.
With a cane along the rail of his improvised bike, this gentleman rode to the Tomb without problem. I didn’t catch his name, but the former Marine was a very nice man in his 60s who refused to let anything stop him. Indeed, he walked the final yards to watch the changing of the guard.
Semper Fi, Marine, and God bless.
And Happy Veterans Day.
