One grand cherry blossom season.

It has been a banger of a cherry blossom season in Washington. Peak bloom came over the weekend and I’ve never seen so many people in the city. Not just the Tidal Basin, which was gridlock for more than a mile away to reach it, but people on the streets everywhere.

The National Zoo entrance saw a very, very long line. Ford’s Theater was jammed. In fact, sidewalks everywhere were jammed and restaurants where I normally pop in were booked for lunch.

Nice to see, a little hard to navigate. I’ll take it.
