I’ve always heard the White House was modeled after the Leinster House in Dublin because Irish architect James Hoban used the Irish parliament as a model.
Well, the truth is the White House looks like part of Leinster House. You can see the columns in the middle look like Washington’s version. I don’t see a big connection between the two building aside the same architect and the middle section.
