Washington Commanders have DT decision

Already into the offseason, what’s everybody talking about are the Washington commanders going to keep both Deron Payne and Jonathan Allen they’re going to trade them they’re going to cut them what are they going to do because these two guys are sucking up a ton of cap space and have just been OK.

Kind of reminds me a little bit back in the 90s when Dana Stubblefield came as a big contract instead of Big Daddy Wilkinson and they were OK, but they weren’t worth the money they were being paid and here you kind of got to say the same thing.

Now it’s not easy to judge defensive tackles because their job is to basically take two men to leave an opening for someone else come in and make plays their jobs make the defensive ends better. That said, you can’t just not have any numbers on the score sheet. You need to get some more stacks you need to help out with pressure and these are two of the veteran guys that are getting paid big money.

Peters is not afraid to cut people or move people or whatever first-round picks gone. Both these guys were first-round picks. They’re in prime of their careers, but they’re making good money.  They’re not going to be easy to trade them, but you don’t want to cut them, let them walk away because I guarantee they’ll be starting somewhere else. So now you got to say where can you do it and Peters has been pretty good about trying to get a decent draft picks. Got a third from Jahan Dotson, who didn’t do very much at all in Philly and they’re going to regret that come this spring. Now the third was sent over for Marshon Lattimore in New Orleans so you could say you got Marshon Lattimore for Jahan. Marshon didn’t get a chance too much because we’ll see next year of that works, but that’s the kind of stuff Peters has to look at is where can he find some value for these guys. But if they have to they can bring them both back, but i don’t know if they will. I just have a feeling one of them’s gonna be gone. Which one we will figure that out.
