Christmas market along F St.

Christmas market

City sidewalks, city sidewalks, dressed in holiday style . . .

OK, it’s not the glitz of New York or the charm of some Hallmark Christmas movie of a small town, but the Christmas market along F St. between 9th and 7th Sts. is worth a stroll.

If you’re in the market for local art, jewelry, cutting boards, hipster clothing and such, the market is a nice eclectic option for gifts by local merchants. If you’d like to spend money with Washingtonians versus the internet and massive corporations, give it a try before ducking in nearby for lunch or dinner. Given the warm temperatures over the next few days, it’s a fun diversion.
