A recent illness limited me to one tour in the last three weeks and few blog posts as you may have noticed. All I can say is staph infections are nothing to be taken lightly.
I was just lucky to have avoided hospitalization. And don’t ask me where I got it because I have no idea. Not like there’s a note on a counter that says, “Touch me – I’m staph.”
Now that it’s 100 degrees outside, I really don’t have any motivation to lead tours. My next one is scheduled for July 13 and that’s fine. I’ve done 100 degree tours and it mostly takes mental toughness and a lot of water to get through it. That said, I have to cover a golf tournament over the weekend for my regular job, but at least I’m not out in the heat too much.
So pardon the lack of posts lately. I haven’t quit, just remembering that good health is the most important thing of all and getting my rest.
