I live just outside Washington and today our Southern Maryland Food Bank closed. The shelves are bare, the wholesaler also cleaned out.

Thousands of people rely on food banks. There are thousands of kids in this region alone whose only meals outside school come from food banks. They don’t eat between Friday lunch and Monday breakfast without food banks.
