Martz Gray Line will begin bus service around the National Mall on March 12, stopping at the World War II Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, Smithsonian Metro station and Arlington National Cemetery. Tickets are $5 per boarding. There will also be a $1 shuttle over to Haines Points during the cherry blossom festival.
The National Park Service is also allowing a Capital Bikeshare station on the mall with several more expected nearby.
The Tourmobile ended service in October after 42 years after its contract ended. Martz’s contract is through 2014.
