Old Post Office Pavilion Launches Photography Competition

The Old Post Office Pavilion offers a photo contest in honor of National Camera Day through July 31.

Local residents and tourists are encouraged to submit their best photograph taken at the Old Post Office Pavilion for a chance to win big prizes and local fame.

Digital photos may be submitted online at Facebook.com/OldPostOfficeDC, Twitter, Flickr, or email OldPostOfficeDC@RMDadvertising.com.

One first place winner will receive a year’s worth of free dining at the Old Post Office Pavilion, as well as have his or her photograph featured online, in social media and in the August e-newsletter.

“DC is home to some of the most unique views in the country – many of which can be discovered at the Old Post Office Pavilion or at the top of our Clock Tower with its 360-degree vista,” said Rodney Dyer, General Manager, Old Post Office Pavilion. “As a city that embraces the arts, we wanted to create an exciting activity that would both recognize National Camera Day and bring the community together for a fun challenge. I hope
that DC residents and tourists alike have as much fun participating in this photo contest as we did putting it together.”
